It takes 2 or 3 tries. It doesn't make a noise when trying to start. (It's the same sound as if you do not have your foot on the break or it is not in neutral.) My SMT light comes on occasionally. I replaced the starter, starter relay and brake switch. The mechanic put it on the machine and not getting any codes. The car runs fine. They checked the transmission and battery and said everything is ok and also checked the fluids.
